DNA is Exceeding the Vision at our 42nd Annual Convention!
Join us in-person at the Town & Country Resort in San Diego, CA, on March 6-8, 2024 for General Sessions that focus on Pharmacotherapeutics; Professional Development/Research; Surgical/Cutaneous Oncology; Medical/Pediatric; and Aesthetics topics. Also offered in-person is our Nurse Practitioner Forum on March 7-8, 2024 which provides up-to-date topics to meet the needs of the advanced dermatology practitioner. There are also three core curriculum workshops offered in-person only on March 9, 2024. We hope you will join us as we help change you and your future!
Learning Outcome
At the end of this three-day convention, learners will demonstrate understanding of the objectives of each attended session by receiving a passing score of 70% or higher on each post-test, and complete session and convention overall learning evaluations.
Goals & Objectives
• Meet educational needs through dermatologic educational programs based on feedback from previous conventions, educational needs assessment, evidence-based practice, current guidelines, therapies, and research.
• Provide an opportunity to network and enhance professional growth of attendees.
• Promote interest in dermatology-related fields, including safety, ethics, research, clinical testing, publishing, management, diverse and unbiased care, inclusivity, leadership, fellowship, and advocacy to advance dermatologic care.
Target Audience
The target audience is nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, other healthcare providers, and staff who are specialized and/or have an interest in dermatology.
Continuing Education Information
The Dermatology Nurses’ Association is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Attendees may earn up to 17 contact hours for main convention sessions and up to 12 contact hours for the Nurse Practitioner Forum sessions. (Pharmacotherapeutic credits TBD: earned for sessions containing pharmacotherapeutics).
