Ms. Edna Atwater is Administrative Director Emerita at Duke University Health System, Department of Dermatology. Ms. Atwater’s Duke career of 41 years was focused on clinical operations and program development specific to dermatology and wound care. She is a Past President of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association. Ms. Atwater received the Dermatology Nurses’ Association’s President’s award twice. In addition, she received the DNA Legacy award for her many contributions to the association. She has given numerous presentations focused on skin and wound care. Ms. Atwater is currently enjoying her retirement on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina.
