Mary is an Adult NP who practiced in Dermatology for over 40 yrs. Her career has been dedicated to the education of NPs in this specialty. She developed the first Post-Graduate Fellowship for NPs in Dermatology at the Lahey Clinic in 2003 which continues today and has been a model for the development of similar programs across the country. In 2014, she co-authored the first dermatology text for Advanced Practice Clinicians and is now in 2ndedition and and co-developed the first Dermatology Post Masters Certification Program at Florida Atlantic University Despite retiring from clinical practice in 2019, she continues to be involved in the advancement of the NP role in dermatology.
